Challenge Entry: Chocolate Bar Slider

The 11th of the month is a special date for me and my hubby.  We'd usually go out to celebrate the day with a fancy dinner or a movie night out.  But today, we opted to stay home.  I am preparing a home-cooked "fancy" dinner, and he will take care of the DVD movie.  :)

But of course, I won't let this day pass without a little surprise treat for him.  It is not only made with love, but it is also packed with lots of heartfelt thanks for being the wonderful Hubby Cookie that he is to his Wifey Cookie - that's me!

So here goes my little surprise treat for Hubby Cookie. <3

Where's the surprise treat...??

Zoom in on the sentiment and image on the front side of the slider.

Cardstock: American Crafts
Designer Paper: American Crafts
Digi Stamp: Crafty Sentiments Designs (Poppy & Henry)
Sentiment Stamp: Hero Arts
Ribbon: American Crafts
Punches: Martha Stewart, Ek Success

** TOP TIP **

I frequently use my edger punch to add some dimension to cardstocks or designer papers when I use them on my cards.

For this project, I used my Martha Stewart Scallop Dot Edge punch, but I did not punch through all the edges.  Instead, I just punched the center edge of the cardstock.  It created a nice touch on my sentiment layer, didn't it? :)

I submit my little project to these challenges.

1. Top Tip Tuesday - Challenge 55 - Use DPs
2. Incy Wincy Designs - Challenge 115 - Being Thank-ful
3. Totally Paper Crafts - Challenge 87 - Animals
4. Lollipop Crafts - Challenge 52 - Critters
5. Little Red Wagon - Challenge 101 - Thanks

I hope Hubby Cookie likes it! :)
