Here is my first HG Laundry card inspired by this week's sketch from the Seize the Birthday challenge.

Here is the sketch.

365 Cards: Day 55 - Super Sketchy Sunday (Sketch by Wendi Robinson)

Just when I thought I am done with "love" cards, I just had to make one more.

How can I resist with this super sketch from DT Wendi Robinson which is up this week on 365 Cards Super Sketchy Sunday Challenge.

SK Digis is playing along with us and sponsoring a $6 Gift Certificate to the shop for a lucky player this week.

Wanna see what Sonia sent me to play with?  :)

And here is the card I came up with.  I went pink all the way, I hope you like that! :)

I am sure the rest of the Sunday girls have lovely projects to inspire you as well. So, hop on along...

After that little tour, return to the 365 Cards Challenge blog to link up your own creative takes to the sketch. If you have any SK Digis in your stash, we'd love to see them on your creations, too!

Have a great week ahead, 365ers!

Challenge: You're Wonderful

A quick post with a card fresh out of the oven before we head off for dinner with friends. :)

I tried to do something different this time - a card without pattterned papers! And I am quite pleased with how it turned out.  Are you ready for it...?

The image is from The Greeting Farm's Miss Anya Dressy.  The sentiment is from Lili Of The Valley.  The dies were cut with MFT Die-namics Circle Stax.  And I used Vintage Cream cardstock from Papertrey Ink.

For my card, I used the sketch from this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge -

And the colours are from this week's challenge over at 613 Avenue Create -

Did you like that? Leave me some love. :)

365 Cards: Day 48 - Super Sketchy Sunday (Sketch by Wendi Robinson)

It's going to be an exciting week over at the 365 Cards Challenge blog because we have a new sponsor on board.  Sara Smeby, one of our talented fans has sent us some love from Stampin' Up to work with this week.  Fun, right?

So, here is this week's sketch.

Sara sent me some goodies from the Afternoon Daydream Simply Scrappin' Kit (#126927).  I came up with the CAS card following this week's sketch from DT Wendi Robinson. So, here it goes...

Now, if you're excited to see what the other girls have for you this week, go on and hop along...

After that, return to the 365 Cards Challenge Blog to link up your own take to the sketch and maybe break in some of your stashed away Stampin' Up goodies! :)

365 Cards: Day 41 - Super Sketchy Sunday (Sketch by Wendi Robinson)

Happy Lunar New Year! :)

Snake display along South Bridge Road, Chinatown, Singapore
And on this first day of the year of the snake, we bring you a new challenge over at the 365 cards.  Here is your sketch for today from our resident sketch designer Wendi Robinson!

Are you feeling the mojo coming on...? I am sure you have so many ideas on how to interpret this pretty sketch.  Here's what I came up with...

Yes, that is Humphrey from the Flowers for You set from Crafter's Companion. Stacy HW sent it to me and I couldn't think of a better time to break it in but with this fab sketch.

Also, how are you liking all the patterned papers I have on this one? :)

I am sure you'd like to see what the rest of the DT came up with using this sketch. So, hop along...

After that inspiration boost, I am sending you back to the 365 Cards Challenge blog to link up your take on this week's sketch. I am sure Mr. Linky is eagerly anticipating all of your wonderful creations. And we are just as excited to come visit you to see them. :)

Have a great week ahead, 365'ers! :)

Challenge: Simply Wonderful Birthday Card

I am playing along this week with the Seize the Birthday challenge.  Here is this week's sketch, and the challenge is to make a feminine birthday card.  Here is my take, inspired by circles! :)

I was also inspired by this week's FFF Challenge - Buttons and Bakers Twine.  So, here is what I came up with! :)

The paper is from AC. The image stamp is from TGF's Sitting Wonderful which I coloured in with Copics.  The sentiment stamp is from MFT's Polka Dot Greetings. Die cuts from MFT as well - circle stax and fishtail banner stax.

Leave me some love. :)

Challenge: Wedding Money Holder

My wedding money holder project is catching the fancy of a few of my friends...  Here's another one I made with a "Sunset" motif.

And wouldn't the newly-wed couple appreciate some wedding cash - for the savings towards a house, or to spend on a luxurious honeymoon vacation. ;)

Luckily, this paper from the SEI Moonrise Collection I found at the last minute was just perfect for this project! :)

Here you go...

Wedding Money Holder

This is with the "belt" detached from the envelope.

This is how it looks like inside with the matching note card with the word "Congratulations".

My project fits these challenges perfectly -

1. Tuesday Alchemy - Anything Goes
2. Sentimental Sundays - Celebrating the New
3. 613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes with the twist of LOVE
4. Lucky Flutterby Creations - Love-themed Project (no cards or LO)

Are you ready for this week's 365 Card Super Sketchy Sunday...?  Ready or not, here's your sketch for this week by our resident sketch designer Wendi Robinson.

Also, this week, DRS Designs is back to play along with us.  And they sent us some yummy Valentines-themed goodies to use on our card creations!

This week, I made a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" card. It's something I haven't done in a while. And I went with lovey-dovey colours to go with the filigree heart stamp and the "Happy Valentine's Day" sentiment, too.  Okay okay, here it is!

I hope you like that. And I hope you find time to hope along the rest of the Sunday Girl's blogs... Drum roll...

After that, I am sending you back to the 365 Cards Challenge blog to link up your own creations for a chance at a prize package from DRS Designs! :)
