Challenge Entry: A Hidden Treat

New week, new challenges.  Here's a little card creation from me to kick the week off. :)

Close up on the detail and a "hidden" treat...

**TOP TIP**
Apart from the love and care that goes with card giving, it would also be a great surprise for the card receiver to find a neat treat tucked into to your card. :)  For my little project, I sneaked in a little extra message in a tag tucked in one layer of my card. May double as a simple bookmark, too. Nice, eh? :)

My little project is entered into these challenges.

1. Top Tip Tuesday - 2 or more ribbon
2. Paper Play Challenges - White + 1 - That's white + brown for me
3. Simply Create - Older than 6 mos. - The butterfly stamp is from a Martha Stewart stamping starter kit I bought a while back when I thought of trying out stamping
4. Craft Your Passion - Challenge #79 Anything Goes with Ribbon
5. Paper Crafting Journey - Punches and/or Dies
6. 365 Days - Day 216 - Super Sketchy Sunday

7. Flourishes - Wacky World Card Making Day Challenge - the colours of Looney Tunes' Baby Taz

Thanks for dropping by... :)

Challenge Entry: CAS for Clean and Simple

I am somehow still inspired to use green color theme on a card.  So here's another one which I am entering this clean and simple card  into two challenge blogs:
  1. Cute Card Thursday : Challenge 177 - Clean & Simple
  2. Flourishes : The Beauty of CAS

I applied a new trick I learned from another card maker over at Let's Make Greeting Cards.  That is pricking holes on punched out shapes.  So I did it on the scalloped circle.  It turned out quite nicely, didn't it?

Cardstock : American Crafts, Martha Stewart
Punchers: EK Success Scallop Circle, EK Success Abstract Flower Edger Punch
Sentiment: Inkadinkadoo Clear Stamp - Expressions
Ink: StazOn Eden Green
