Cookies @ Lakeside: The Improved Crafting Area

Anticipating the arrival of my latest toy (thanks to my very generous Hubby Cookie), I reorganised the crafting area. 

A quick purchase at Ikea for a sturdy shelf last Sunday and clearing my table and using an old computer table as an extension, and my area is set for long hours of creative practice. :)

What's inside the shelf?  Everything that used to be on the table. That's how much stuff I already have in my stash that needs to be put aside to make room for the Cricut Expression machine. :))

Cookies @ Lakeside: Blue Sheets

One of my favorite places to shop here in Singapore is at Ikea.  I reckon most of our furniture were bought from Ikea. And we've been in Singapore for 4 years, so that's fairly a lot of furniture - sofa, tv bench, beds, wardrobe, work desk, computer desk, swivel chairs, book case, utility shelves, even dinner plates.

On Tuesday, our foodtrip buddies setup a dinner get together at Ikea on Alexandra Road.  And while we were there, of course, a shopping trip is definitely a must.

I ended up purchasing this neat set of new bedsheets. The first blue set I bought. Matches our curtains perfectly.  Oh, the curtains are also from Ikea. :)
