Challenge Entry: CPS 5th Anniversary - Day 11

Here's my take on CPS 5th Anniversary - Day 11 sketch.  It will be for a friend's upcoming birthday.  Well, it's not really an outright birthday card, but you are supposed to be made special on your special day, right? So, that's the bottom line. :)

The Vintage Apron digi is from Bows n Berries, by the way

How about a cuddly bear couple to add a little cuteness into your Valentines? :)

This is my card entry to CPS's 5th Anniversary - Day 13 card sketch challenge.

Thank you for looking.

Challenge Entry: CPS 5th Anniversary - Day 5

Here's my take on CPS' 5th Anniversary - Day 5 sketch. It's a non-traditional Valentine's card this time. I think I've gotten tired of seeing Reds and Pinks, as those have been the colour tone of the last 4 cards I made. Hahaha...:)

Okay, here it goes...

Card base is kraft cardstock which I embossed using the Divine Swirl folder on the Cuttlebug.  The sheer ribbon is from my stash.  The floral ribbon is from a prize stash I received from Cheryl.  The twine if rom PapertreyInk. The stamp is a Pixie Cottage rubber stamp.

And of course, here is the sketch.  I rotated it clockwise.

Challenge Entry: CPS 5th Anniversary - Day 6

Here is my take on the Day 6 Sketch for CPS' 5th Anniversary.  I had fun creating with this sketch, and I found just the perfect little cutie of an image for it!

Here it goes.  I hope you like it! :)

And here is the sketch.

The papers are from Doodlebug Designs. The sheer ribbon is from American Crafts.  Sentiment stamp from Hero Arts. The clown doll is a digi from Stitchy Bears.  And it is coloured with Copics.

Challenge Entry: Pink Bear Love

I am back to making a pink card.  I just couldn't resist it! Sorry. :D

So, here's my Pink Bear Love card. No DPs on this one.

Close up.

Cardstock: American Crafts, Popular
Stamped Sentiment: Inkadinkado
Digi Stamp: Crafty Sentiments Designs - Poppy and Henry
Punches: Daiso, Martha Stewart
Rhinestone: Zva Creative

For my image, I colored them up with Copic. I am quite excited colouring with them though I only have a few markers - skin tones mostly, but I made them work here in this image. I am still learning, and need LOTS of practice.

I am submitting my card to these challenges:
1. Lia Stampz - Challenge #5 - Use 2 images
2. Craft Your Passion - Challenge #80 - Double Up with Pink
3. Top Tip Tuesday - Layer It Up!

** TOP TIP **
Using DPs on your layouts is fun.  But sometimes, even without using DPs, as in my card here, you can still make it work.  CAS is fun and it works! :)

4. Forever Friends Challenge - Anything Goes but with Animals
5. CPS - Sketch  #240

Challenge Entry: CPS Sketch # 234

For this CPS Sketch, I thought of using the coordinated paper sets from the American Crafts Abode collection.  And so, here is what I came up with.

Image and sentiment from Stampendous Hey There Cupcake set.  Ribbon from American Crafts.  Pearl embellishments from Zva Creative (China).

The cute Spoon and Fork paperclips are detachable and may serve as a keepsake for whoever receives the card. :)

BTW, here is the original sketch.

I tried my best to be true to the sketch.  Tell me if I did well. :D

As an added challenge, I am also entering this card into Day 191 - So Not Me challenge at the 365 Days blog.  My style is usually CAS, and a busy looking card like this is so not me.
