I have been busy working on Christmas greeting cards for my personal use so I haven't been posting any challenge specific cards.  But finally, I am about to post out the last few Christmas cards I have to send and now I'm back making challenge cards! Yay me! :D

Here's my first non-Christmas themed card after a while.

Challenge Entry: Polka Dot Hello

Hello Sunday! The sun over Singapore is bright and happy today. :)

So, let's start off with the first card I did last night while Hubby Cookie was sleeping.  Don't tell on me! Hahaha...

Here's my Polka Dot Hello card. :)

I am entering this card into the following challenges.
1. Top Tip Tuesday - Layer It Up

** TOP TIP **

 It doesn't have to be all lined up.  Skewing the layers a bit creates more interest I found out in this card design. :)

I punched out two circles - 1 1/2" and 1 1/4" in coloured cardstock coordinating with my DPs.  I layered them up and glued them together in a bit of skewed alignment.  For the "hello" sentiment, I also glued it slight to the side of the layered circle instead of the centre.

Works, eh?

Challenge Entry: You're Fabulous Dress Card

A quick post after getting back from a Saturday mall stroll with Hubby.

Here's my "fabulous" card for 365 Cards  Day 228 - Absolutely Fabulous.

Zoom in on the paper-pieced dress.

Most of the sentiment bits are from scrap DP. The inner circle was actually a "mistake" cut I did with my Cricut Expression.  Lucky me, it worked out for The Sweet Stop's sketch. The ribbons are scrap ones, too.

This is also my second entry to Craft Your Passion's All Occasion Card challenge.
