Challenge: Coordinating New Parents Baby Shower Invitations

I made these for a friend who's going to be a new mommy soon.  Since it will be a Mommy and Daddy party,  I made 2 sets of coordination invitations adorned with the cute images from TGF's Mom & Dad rubberstamp set.

To add a personal touch to it, I added the parents names on the cards, too.  And yes, they are having a boy! :)  The papers are from Doodlebug, and they fit my design perfectly!

Here is Daddy Card.

And here is the Mommy Card.

I am submitting my project to these challenges.
1 - Lia Stampz - April Showers bring May Flowers
2 - Make It Monday Linky Party #90
3 - Fussy and Fancy - New Baby
4 - Top Tip Tuesday - Clean and Simple

Challenge Entry: Baby Shower Invitations

I am still very excited about my new TGF stamps. And so, here are some more cards from me using the Mom & Dad set.

Well, there's actually a back story to why I purchased this specific stamp set.  I've got a few dear friends who are on the family way, and I really think they'd appreciate a little help in preparing for a baby shower.  So here's me, putting my hand up! ;)

Here is a Baby Shower Invitation with the Mommy paper doll.

And the matching Baby Shower Invitation with the Daddy paper doll. Daddies need a baby shower, too! ;)

The pretty DPs are from a new Heidi Grace 12x12 paper pack.  The ribbons are from American Crafts.  I coloured the images with my Copics. Shapes cut with the Cricut Expression.

Now a close up on the paper dolls. :)

I hope my projects inspired you today. :)

2 - Lexi's Creations - Mother's Day - My second entry
3 - Anything Goes Challenge - Boyz to Men - The second card should fit right in
4 - Totally Paper Crafts - My Favorite Things - After Hubby got me the Cricut Expression, I just can't get enough of doing shaped cards!  It's one of my favourite crafting tools to use these days.
5 - Crafty Catz Weekly - Mothers Day or A Special Lady

TOP TIP ALERT: To add some interest to the usual scallop circle punched out die, I pierced the scallops with a sewing needle.  It's quite simple to do, and it adds that extra something to the usual die cut. :)

10 - Deep Ocean Challenge - Butterflies - The DP on card no.1 got some pretty butterflies on it!

LO Project: Mad Hatter Tea Party Themed Invitation (Updated)

With lots of thanks to two of my favorite colleagues - Jajah and Chrissie, for the confidence, here's my latest layout project.

Paper and embellishments from the Mad Hatter Tea Party Minikit from Designs in Digital.

UPDATE

It appears that Designs in Digital has gone out of business.  I was lucky to have purchased this minikit before they closed down.  If you're interested in the minikit for your personal project, I'd be glad to share the minikit with you.  I had a hard time looking for this kit myself so I understand your dilemma. Drop me a note if you want it. :)
