Challenge: Cute Girls Easel Cards

I sent some love across the miles to my dear girlfriends back home in Manila with these cute little easel cards.

Again, when I say cute, I meant using TGF's Anya. :) I just adore her and by the lovely Facebooks posts from my girlfriends, I think they loved her, too.

Challenge: Gift Packaging

I prepared a little something for my girlfriends who I will be meeting with briefly over a meal during our vacation in Manila.

They are just little trinkets so to add some value and some personal touch, I packaged them nicely like so...

I used Graphic 45 Christmas paper on this one.  The stamps are clear stamps from The Greeting Farm's Sparkling Season and Holiday Blessings sets.

For these, I used Echo Park Holly Jolly Christmas paper and some of the leftover scraps from the Graphic 45 holly patterned paper.  The dies were cut with My Favorite Things Sweet Stack Label.  The stamps are clear stamps from CAS-ual Friday Stamps Merry Kiss-mas set.

These are 3.5in x 3.5in squares. It opens like a matchbook.  Sorry, I did not take photo of it opened up.

Greetings: Just in Time for Christmas

I got this yesterday in the mail.  Just in time for Christmas!

Thanks to Cheryl, my S4All (secret) Santa, for these yummy goodies!  I love all the OA stuff as I don't see a lot of October Afternoon stuff in craft stores here in Singapore.

I am so excited to play with them.

LO Project: I Love You Forever

On Sunday, 11 September 2011, my Hubby Cookie and I celebrates our first wedding anniversary.  How fast the days go by when you're having fun, right? :)

So, in remembrance of that special day when all of our families and friends witnessed our saying "I do" to each other, here is an LO project I made.

The photo is of us during our pre-wedding pictorial done in June 2010 at La Castellana in Manila, Philippines.  It was scorching hot that day, but everything went really well because of the professionalism exercised by the photographers, our wedding coordinator, and the staff of the venue.

Here is my little layout in a frame.  I know it's too pink, but I still hope Hubby Cookie brings it to work to display on his work desk. :D

LO Projects: A Box and A Bookmark

And while the creative juices are kicking in, I wanted to try my hand into doing some non-card projects. 

I have done a few non-card paper projects in the past.  You may recall the lady purse template I worked on and posted here as a present for a friend's daughter's birthday...

So now with the help of my very good friend Google, I was able to seek out interesting templates for paper projects to try out.

Non-card Project # 1 - The 2-5-7-10 Gift Box

The cliche "Don't judge a book by its cover" won't apply here.  Don't you agree that the best part of a present is its packaging?  The effort put into the gift's packaging is far more deserving of one's appreciation.  And so, I give you this fresh and girly gift box. :)

This one is still empty, but who would want to open up this gift when the packaging is just too adorable.


Non-card Project # 2 - The Corner Bookmark

Your classic reading companion gets a makeover.  No more dog-ears.  Indeed a bookworm's perfect companion.

I made this one for a friend.  I "personalised" it by stamping in her nickname.  When I receive my new shipment of stamps from Inkadinkado (which I order online over at the EK Success Brands website), I should have more "sentiments" and images to use for these kinds of projects.

I have a few more non-card projects up my sleeve so keep posted.
