Greetings: February 2012 Wins

I am starting to get the hang of my 9 to 5 job.  But of course, had I a choice, I'd still prefer paper crafting 24 by 7 any day! LOL!

Despite of my decreased hobby time, I am just so happy and proud of my little wins this month.  I still made a couple of great cards that caught some attention.  Thank you to everybody who appreciates what I do. :)

My Baking Dottie card won Rosey's Non-Traditional Valentines Card @ the S4All group.

My Pink Tulips Easel Card won the prize at the Really Reasonable Ribbons' Red & Pink with Ribbon Theme Challenge.

My Hog Wild Over You shaped card won Cheryl's Holiday Card Challenge - Valentines at the Sketches4All group.

And another pink card of mine won another of Rosey's fun challenges at Sketches4All.

Here's to more cards made, and more challenges won! LOL!

Spotlight on Wifey Cookie

I submitted a few of my favourite LOs to the Scrapbook Sisters Challenge Blog, and they were featured today on their site.
Thankful Moments: This LO won me the December GDT spot at Sketchy Thursdays.
Igloo Cuddle: This LO won me some nice goodies from the S4All Get Sketchy Challenge Group.
Yellow Cab Love: This LO showcases one of my favourite photos of me and Hubby Cookie.  And I tried a new technique here called "Embellishment Sneeze".
10 Things I Love About Us: My last LO for 2011 and my most favourite among the lot simply because I love everything that is on it - the photo, the colour, and of course the message of the journalling.

Design Team Memberships

The new design team members of the 2 Sisters Challenge Blog has been announced! And guess who's in it?? :)  Yes, Wifey Cookie made it to the design team!

This is my second DT assignment.  The first challenge I am participating in as a new DT member is coming up on Saturday - 7th January.  Do watch out for that and maybe join in the fun, too. :)

My first one is at the Chocolate, Coffee & Cards Challenges which I got into in the last quarter of 2011.  We're now on our third challenge!  And it is a fun one, so check it out! :)

Goodies in the Mail

I was never really excited checking the mail. Usually our mailbox would just contain bills or some fliers.  But lately, it is one of the things I look forward to everyday - checking the mail, and finding some nice paper crafting goodies addressed to me! Yay!!! :)

And yesterday, the package I was so looking forward to receive finally arrived.  It is the Nikki Sivils Gingerbread Land kit I won from S4All.

An exciting week one for the new year, don't you agree? :)

Sigh. I am surely going to miss doing paper crafts 24/7. From next Monday, I'll be back on the rat race.  But I am not sulking, at least aside from Hubby Cookie's generous sponsorship, I can soon personally support my crafting addiction. Hahaha...

Of course, you'll still see projects from me at least once a week for my DT stints at your favourite challenge blogs.  And you'd see me stalking and participating in a few challenge blogs here and there, too (crossing my fingers).

Cheers to a fantastic 2012 for all us! :)

I have also been featured as a guest designer on their blog. :)

Honourable Mention @ Kaboodle Doodles Challenge

Kaboodle Doodles Challenge BlogMy Christmas Hanging Ornament did not win the prize or named Top 3 but it did an Honourable Mention for Kaboodle Doodles Challenges' Challenge #96 - Colors of Christmas. And for that, I am still happy!

I appreciate the kind word the DT says of my simple Christmas project...

"What a stunning Christmas hanging ornament - love it!"

Thank you so much to the talented ladies over at Lia Stampz and Kaboodle Doodles Challenges for making my Sunday! :)

A week to go before Christmas! :)

Greetings: CWC Weekly Challenge Winner for Challenge #62

My Christmas Tree Ornament project was chosen challenge winner at the Cooking With Cricut blog for their Challenge #62: Candles, Wreaths, Pine Cones! :)

After Hubby Cookie got me the Cricut Expression as a first wedding anniversary present in Septembers, I am still getting the hang of using it.  And this project is one of the first one's I have done that is not a result of a "trial and error" approach. Hahaha... :)

So, many thanks to the creative Cricut gals over at the CWC blog for this recognition. :)

Greetings: Featured @ Paper Issues

I woke up to a very happy news this morning.  My Christmas Tag using Echo Park's Season's Greetings paper got featured again!  This time at the Paper Issues blog. :)

It just really makes me happy when my humble creations get noticed and appreciated by other paper crafters.  And so I am wearing this big ear-to-ear grin for the whole day.

Thank you, Paper Issues!  You made my day! :)

Here is my Christmas Tag.

Greetings: Favourite @ Annabelle Stamps Blog

PhotobucketMy festive Christmas tag project was picked favourite at the Annabelle Stamps Blog for their Annabelle  Bling Sketch Challenge 044.

It really made my day, and I just can't stop smiling.  I am personally really proud of this little project of mine as it is my first attempt at a "shaped" creation.  I just usually go for the traditional square or rectangular projects, and this one is a big leap for me.

So, thank you so much for the creative ladies over at Annabelle Stamps for noticing and recognising my work. I will wear your badge proudly on my humble blog!

Here is my Christmas Tag that won them over, by the way. :)
