Challenge Entry: Sticky Note Holder

I made a little present for a friend who's celebrating her birthday.  It's a sticky  note holder. :)

Since it's the "love month" still, I used heart-y papers from Doodlebug Designs.  Some bling from My Mind's Eye. Sentiment stamp from Inkadinkado.  Corner punchers from Carl Craft. And the adorable girl stamp is Hero Arts! :)  The shape is a die cut from the Accent Essentials cartridge on the Cricut Expression.  The ribbon is from my stash.

And here is what's inside.  I know, I should have picked the pink pad instead! (facepalm)

My friend is a fan of cutesy little things, so I am sure she'll love this! :)

Challenge Entry: Joyeux Noel

"~ It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.. ~"

That's my LSS since a few days ago.  It must be obvious with all the Christmas-theme cards I've been making. And here's another one.  This one's a bit more "mature" in terms  of my paper and embellishment choices.

I hope you like it! :)

Zoom in on the details of my card.

1. Mojo Monday 214 - Contest

I really enjoyed working with this sketch.

2. Lexi's Creation Challenge #52 - Charming

Challenge Entry: Thank You Butterflies

One can never have too many thank you cards in your desk drawer. :) Here's one from me.

Zoom in to the details.

So here's my ** TOP TIP ** - Use foam tape to adhere elements to card layouts to give it that extra pop and dimension.  I did it for the butterfly dies on this layout and to make it more interesting I also adhered a rhinestone on the butterfly's body and folded the wings. Now it looks like it's about to take flight. :)

Cardstock: American Crafts
Patterned Paper: Sei, Grant Archival
Ribbon: American Crafts
Rhinestone Embellies: Zva Creative
Stamped Image/Sentiment: Inkadinkado
Butterfly Puncher: Martha Stewart

My card fits the criteria for these challenges.

1.  The Pixie Cottage - Challenge 89 - Pop It Up!
2.  Top Tip Tuesday - 2 or more ribbons / twine / lace / fabric
3.  365 Cards - Day 213 - Card on a Card

Thank you for dropping by! :)
