S4All: Decemeber Challenge with Eureka and QKR Stampede

Christmas is almost here!  In the Sketches4All community, we have some December Challenges for you and we hope you will play along with us!

The first of the challenges this December is one sponsored by Eureka Stamps and QKR Stampede.

They are too kind to sponsor the S4All DT with a digital stamp to play with.  And my choice is Santa's List.  He's too funny, I couldn't resist him!

And here is my card showcasing this digital image. I hope you like it.

The papers are from Echo Park's Holly Jolly Christmas paper pad.  All the dies on my card are cut with MFT dies.  The button is glittered, but it didn't come thru the camera, too bad.

This month's Sketches4All Challenge is to use this sketch from PageMaps in a creation using fall colours.

That's tough for me as I am more of a "pastel" kind of girl.  But, I did try my best to make it work. And here is my card creation for y'all! :)

I used MFT's Here's the Scoop clear stamps on my card.

Challenge: Congratulations

Over the last couple of months, I have been trying out several makes of stamps.  And one of my favorites are the ones from My Favorite Things.  Having been a follower of the MFT blog and forums for a while, I have finally decided to jump in and send a card for their Wednesday Stamp Club challenge #82.

Here is this week's sketch -

And here is my take -

The DPs are from DoodleBug Designs' Snips & Snails collection.  The stamped image and sentiment is from the A La Mode - Bundle of Baby clear stamp set. The stitching is also a clear stamp from the Framed Greetings stamp set.

Here is a close up on the stamped image which I coloured with Copics.  The dress and headband is paper-pieced from a scrap piece of an AC DP.

Challenge: Bright Yellow Birthday Card

I made this sun-shiny little card for my cousin Rose's birthday. I hope she liked it. :)

I made use of TGF's Simply Anya image.  The sentiment is MFT. The pretty trim and ribbon are treasures from my stash. 

For this card, I made use of a PageMaps sketch from Fia's sketch challenge over at the Sketches4All community site.

S4All: Wifey Cookie's ABC Challenge: G for Good

Moving on to the next letter in Wifey Cookie's ABC Challenge... It's time for the letter G to take the spotlight.

G for "Good"

Wifey Cookie wants to see the word "Good" on your project.  Make sure it is visible. I don't want to miss it! :)

It's been a while since I last played along to sketch challenges.  So, here is me joining in.

This sketch is from Cheryl's June Sketch challenge over at the Sketches4All Ning Community.  The sketch is by Jana Eubank.

Challenge: Washi Tape Card

I have been seeing a lot of washi tape projects around craft blogland, and a recent trip to the friendly neighbourhood craft store yielded 2 sets of mini washi tapes. I just couldn't resist them anymore! :)

And while Hubby Cookie packs for our 4-day Hong Kong getaway, I sneaked to the craft table and played with them.  This is what came out of it.

Challenge Entry: New Mommy Card

I am just so in love with these adorable The Greeting Farm images.  Here's another card from me, a shaped one this time.  And I used an image from the Mom & Dad set.

I am sure you agree that this mommy image is just darling!  Here's a close up.

Here's a rundown of the materials I used on my card.  The paper is from Sei.  The card base is American Crafts. The ribbon is American Crafts.  Shapes are cut with my Cricut Expression. The image is coloured with Copics.

And I used a sketch from Page Maps for a Sketch4All challenge by Fia.  Here's the original sketch which I slightly modified.
