365 Cards: Day 279 - Super Sketchy Sunday (Sketch by Wendi Robinson)

Welcome to this week's Super Sketchy Sunday on the 365 Cards Challenge blog. And here's your sketch.

And here's my "rebel" take on it! It's World Card Making weekend after all, so might as well try something out of the box. :)

I used one of my favourite sets from The Greeting Farm called Sitting Pretty. :)  I also incorporated a cute little tag which has my sentiment.  This is inspired by The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Friday - Terrific Tags challenge.

Now, it's your turn to amaze us with your creative takes to this week's sketch. Make it fun and link it up to the challenge blog.

Needing more inspiration.  Here's the rest of the DT blogs for you to check out!

365 Cards: Day 272 - Super Sketchy Sunday (Sketch by Wendi Robinson)

I was going through Facebook photo albums and chanced upon this cute photo of my baby self. :)

I remember this photo hanging at our living room in the Philippines.  It found it's way to our wedding photo montage. And now I am putting it out there with the hopes of my twin girls outdoing my cuteness here. LOL! :)  Well, I think it's decided, they will definitely be waaaaay cuter that I was. :)

Okay, now on to some Design Team business.  Here's the latest sketch for us to play with this Super Sketchy Sunday.

And here is my CAS take on it. I hope you like the card I prepared for you today. :)  It showcases The Greeting Farm's latest Birthday Anya. She is such a cutie herself!

The rest of the Sunday Design Team have more inspiration for you, so hop along...

We all encourage you to join us this week and link up your fantastic creations.  We'd love to see what you create.

Seize the Birthday: Anything Goes with a "Toppings" option of More than one Colour of Ribbon

What a fantastic week it's been so far... I am 31 weeks into my pregnancy (with twin girls) and in spite of the extra weight I am lifting, I am feeling pretty good. Hopefully, this goes on for the next few more weeks.

And until then, I'll leave you with my latest card for this fortnight's Seize the Birthday Challenge!  And again, it's a birthday cardmaking challenge with an extra option of toppings!

So this round your "Toppings" option is
"More than one color of ribbon"

Here is my card for you. I didn't have a lot of ribbon, or at least my "baby brain" can't figure out where I've kept them. LOL! So, I just used 3 different kinds of trims on my card - lace, sheer ribbon, and twine. I hope that works for you. :)

If you recognize that little cutie, yes, she's Baby Anya from The Greeting Farm's Baby Anya and Ian Rubber Stamp set. I love paper piecing her. She's too adorable. :)

Okay, that's me for now.  The rest of my gal pals at STB will have more inspiration for  you so do find time to check out their wonderful creations as well.

365 Cards: Day 265 - Super Sketchy Sunday (Sketch by Wendi Robinson)

Hello! Just a quick recap of the week that was...

I had a hectic week at work.  Lots of stuff going on but managed to work through them.  We'll see how it all turns out this week, and it will set the tune of how busy it's going to be again. #crossingfingers

Yesterday, we went for a 31 weeks checkup for the Mini Cookies. They are doing well. They weigh 1.7kg each now.  It's the  homestretch and we're hoping to take it to the end! :)

Here is me and Hubby Cookie waiting at the doctor's clinic yesterday.  Yes, my belly is just amazingly huge! And it is as heavy as it looks! LOL!

Okay, on to today's business... It's another Super Sketchy Sunday over at the 365 Cards Challenge blog.  Here is this week's sketch, ready or not! :)

I thought out of the box this time and made "oversized" modifications on some of the shapes on the sketch.  I am loving the Orange and Green colour combo here. I hope you feel the same way. :)

That's my card for you this week.  The rest of the Sunday girls should have some more inspiration for you, so hop along.

After that, you must link up your creations on the challengte blog to share with us!

365 Cards: Day 258 - Super Sketchy Sunday (Sketch by Wendi Robinson)

Hubby Cookie and I celebrated our 3rd Wedding Anniversary on 11th September .  We went for an Italian dinner at Pizzeria Mozza at the Marina Bay Sands.  We had a wonderful time, just the two of us sharing a "fancy" pizza dinner. LOL! Next year, on our 4th anniversary, there will be four of us celebrating. We are sooo looking forward to that! :)

On other news, it's time for another Super Sketchy Sunday over at the 365 Cards Challenge!  Here is your sketch.

And I being caffeine deprived now for a while decided to make a latte-inspired card. Here it is!

The image and sentiment are from My Favorite Things' ALM Miss You a Latte.

The rest of the Sunday DT have some inspiration for you as well, so hop along -

After that little tour, I invite you to link up your own take to the sketch on the challenge blog.

Challenge: Yellow and Bright

We're 29 weeks today, and I am feeling happy and excited.  Well, the belly's really heavy now and my feet and legs are starting to swell.  But I am positive we'll make it to the finish line healthy and a 100% ready! :)

So, in celebration of my bright and sunny attitude towards this whole mummy-hood journey, here is my bright and yellow card for you -

For my card, I played with a The Greeting Farm Big Anya stamp, some My Favorite Things Die-namics, the Taylored Expressions Quatrefoil Die, a puncher for the flowers, some pearls and the leaf trimmings from my stash.  I love how the layered fishtail banner and quatrefoil die worked out well into my design. :)

My card is inspired by the following challenges -
1. Kaboodle Doodles Challenge - Use Yellow
2. Loves Rubberstamps - Challenge 68 - Anything Goes
3. Freshly Made Sketches - Sketch #102

Leave me some love if you're loving this card. :)

365 Cards: Day 244 - Super Sketchy Sunday (Sketch by Wendi Robinson)

Yesterday was the babies' checkup at 28 weeks.  And are we excited to see how they are growing.  Well, each of our girls weigh 1.2kg already, no wonder my belly is big and heavy now!  So far, so good. A few more weeks to go before their highly anticipated arrival.

Here are a few photos of the scan we did yesterday. :)

Okay, now for my card this week for Super Sketchy Sunday, here is a festive one, since we're now in the "Ber" months.  :)  I played with some Christmas goodies from Neat and Tangled called Sweet Home.

Here is the sketch that inspired it, care of  DT Wendi Robinson.

So, are you ready to play? :) See what the rest of the design team has in store for you this week -

After that parade of inspiration, why not try and play along. Link up your cards to the challenge blog. We'd love to see what you all come up with!

Card Project: Hello Birthday Girl

I had a really hectic week! My siblings flew in from Manila to pay us a visit! We showed them around and brought them to a few of the popular dining places around Singapore.  It was a short 5-day visit, but it was time well-spent with our dearest fambam! :)

Okay, enough small talk... I just want to make a point... Because of the too much fun the Cookie family is having with the fambam, Wifey Cookie didn't have any crafty time, which explains why this is such a late post!  And a double-taker on 2 of my DT project assignments. (Sorry, teammates.)

And so, here is my card -

This week's Loves Rubberstamps Challenge calls for your...

Favourite Colour Combo

Loves Rubberstamps Blog Challenges

For me, it's Pink and Brown.  There is something about this colour combo that makes me smile... always.  Perhaps because it looks like sweet pastry? LOL!

For my card I used these materials, some of which are available at the Loves Rubberstamps Store for purchase.  Laura ships internationally! ;)

Penny Black's Big Wish - stamped image
Papertrey Ink's Daily Designs Sentiments - stamped sentiment
Jillibean Soup Alphabeans - stickers
Copics for colouring the image in
Memento Tuxedo Black for stamping in the image

This fortnight at the Seize the Birthday Challenge, it's still...
