Singapore Adventure: Exploring Changi Airport

After hosting our moms at our humble Singapore home for three weeks, yesterday was the day they had to go back.  It was really fun and warm having them around.  It's been six months since we were home in Manila, and having them here felt like being close to home again.

Our little excursions while they were here are chronicled in photos on my Facebook album.  View them here. :)

Upon seeing them clear immigration at the Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2, we decided to hang around the airport for a while just to be sure they have reached to boarding gate for SQ Flight 918 to Manila.  Walking around the public area of the airport, we see an exhibit for the Centennial Celebration of Aviation in Singapore.  Hubby Cookie being a big fan of planes, we just couldn't not take photos of the neat Bristol Boxkite replica on display.

Here are a few snaps we took with our iPhones.  Oh, and these photos are linked from the official website of the Singapore Aviation Centennial at http://www.aviationcentennial.sg/.
